King Edward's School Celebrates Outstanding A-level Results Amidst Unprecedented Challenges
King Edward's School is thrilled to announce the exceptional achievements of its A-level pupils in the face of numerous challenges encountered throughout their academic journey.
Pupils across the region and the country, including those at King Edward's School, have encountered unique challenges that required them to adapt, persevere, and excel in an ever-changing educational landscape. Remarkably, this year's graduates have not had the same advantages as previous cohorts, as they did not benefit from grade boundary adjustments that were implemented to account for the disruptions caused by the pandemic.
In the face of these challenges, the results achieved by students are nothing short of exceptional. With over 56% of our pupils attaining the highest A*/A grades in their A-level exams, and nearly 30% of the entire year group securing three or more A* or A grades, their accomplishments are a source of immense pride for King Edward's.
Neal Parker, Head at King Edward VI School says "We could not be prouder of our King Edward’s A-level pupils, who have achieved so much this year despite facing so many obstacles during their time at School. For our students to have earned such wonderful results, not only speaks to their own perseverance and dedication, but also to the exceptional guidance and support provided by our dedicated teachers."
As these accomplished individuals now embark on the next chapter of their lives, King Edward's wishes them the very best for their futures. The entire KES community congratulates them on their remarkable accomplishments and looks forward to witnessing the positive impact they will undoubtedly make in the world.
