Open Events
Come and visit us
Throughout the year, we invite families to visit and experience our school, to help decide if King Edward VI School is right for your child.
Individual Tours
Individual Tours are bookable throughout the year, and are with a senior member of staff. These tours are available for families to take during the school day, providing a real insight into what your child can expect day-to-day. There will be opportunities to drop into lessons, tour the school and ask questions to the member of staff.
To enquire about a tour, email our Admissions Team.
Taster Mornings
Our Taster Morning events are a fantastic way for parents and children to experience our school. During the event families will have the chance to meet the Head, explore the school and grounds, learn more about King Edward's and join us for lunch.
The events are bookable by completing our enquiry form here and advising which date you would like to attend. Please note, these events are popular and get booked extremely fast.
We look forward to welcoming you to our School at our upcoming Taster Mornings in 2024:

Open Evening
Every Autumn we host our annual Open Evening where we welcome families to explore the school, meet the current pupils and staff, and get to know more about KES life.
The 2024 Open Evening date will be released soon.
Sixth Form Information Evening
The next Sixth Form Information Evening will be held in October 2024.
Each year, in the Autumn Term we invite Year 10 and Year 11 students and their parents to our Sixth Form Information Evening. This event will provide a strong insight into the exciting subjects offered at Sixth Form, and will help students seriously consider their next steps. You will have the opportunity to talk to our Head, Neal Parker, Director of Sixth Form, Emma Thomas, our A Level subject teachers, the Careers team and, of course, some of our current Sixth Formers to chat about life at King Edward’s in and out of the classroom. Neal Parker and Emma Thomas will also be delivering a short presentation to all in attendance.
