Admissions for King Edward's

We are delighted that you are considering King Edward VI School for your child.

We have a long reputation for impressive academic results and seek to develop pupils with a wide range of skills and interests. Our goal is to combine the pursuit of academic excellence with a range of opportunities to develop self-confident and independent young people, who have a strong sense of community and will become responsible and reflective future leaders.

Students can join us at the beginning of Secondary School, in Year 7 and continue their education through to Sixth Form, leaving us at the age of 18 as confident, well-informed and well-rounded young adults, ready to move on to the next stage of their lives.

Our main entry points are Year 7, Year 9 and Sixth Form, but we do accept applications for other year groups depending on availability.
