Examination Results

King Edward’s prides itself on the excellent examination results achieved by its pupils.  They are the result of hard work on the part of the pupils, quality teaching, advice, access to resources, and strong pastoral support throughout.

2025 Result Headlines

A Level 

51.5% of grades were A*A grades at A Level and 96% of the King Edward's students achieved A*-C grades. 

GCSE

73% of grades were at 9-7 (A*- A). 88% of grades were at 9-6 (A* - B) and 97.9% of grades were at 9-4 (A*- C).

2024 Result Headlines

A Level 

44.1 % of grades were A*-A grades at A Level and 91% of the King Edward’s students achieved A*-C Grades.

GCSE

71.4% of grades were at 9-7 (A*-A). 86.3% of grades were at 9-6 (A*-B), and 98.1% were at 9-4 (A*- C).
