Food
The health and wellbeing of pupils is paramount, and we understand that good nutrition is vital in helping them to achieve their best in and outside of school.
A healthy and satisfying school lunch is critical to student health and wellbeing, ensuring students have the energy and nutrition throughout the day to learn. That's why at King Edward's we work with Sodexo, to offer an exciting and nutritious food menu to students.
The food provided is fresh and seasonal, using the best of British seasonal fruit and vegetables where possible, providing freshly baked bread with soups, a varied salad bar, hot meals, sustainably sourced meats and sweet treats. We have also just launched a 'Street Food Bar' where students will find an array of options that are suitable to grab and go.
Lunch is served by staff in our purpose designed servery and students enjoy their food in our modern dining rooms, surrounded by staff and peers. Breakfast is also on offer to students each morning.
We can cater for most allergies and dietary preferences.
Below is an example menu. Our menu's change daily and weekly, meaning there is always something new and exciting on offer to students.
