Bank Sports Nurse

Bank Sports Nurse

£30 per hour

Required for September 2026

King Edward VI, is a thriving co-educational 11-18 independent day school and we are looking to recruit qualified bank nurses to provide medical support during the School rugby season from September to December. We are looking to build a team of bank nurses to assist with Saturday fixtures at Wellington sports ground as well as occasional cup games on weekday afternoons. There is flexibility to agree work in advance in line with your availability.

You will ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the athletes and respond promptly to any sports related emergencies. You will assess and manage injuries and offer post-game care and guidance if necessary.

You will provide to our school community a clinically effective, high-quality service of nursing care, including First Aid, welfare and health information. Two years minimum qualified experience is essential; experience of working with children and families in a community setting and experience of A&E/minor injuries is desirable.

Finance Assistant (12 Month Fixed term Contract)

We are looking to recruit a motivated and organised Finance Assistant to join our busy and supportive Finance team. This is a varied role, working across accounts payable, receivable, banking, and school fee processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-focused, reliable, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. Finance experience is desirable, but we welcome applications from candidates who are studying AAT or have relevant transferable skills.

The job will be based at Prince’s Mead School (with occasional travel to other sites within the KES Group).

HOURS

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, on a 12-month, fixed-term contract.

REMUNERATION

Salary in the range of: £26000 - £28500 dependent upon qualifications and experience.
