We are seeking a well-qualified and dynamic Teacher of English to join our English Faculty on a part time or full time basis from September. All pupils take both English and English Literature at GCSE, whilst at A level both English Language and English Literature are offered. The ability to teach the full age range is essential. You will be part of a strong and successful department where examination results are consistently high.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Library Manager to join us in our busy library at King Edward VI School. You will be responsible for leading and developing the school library provision in order to provide a high quality, professional library service to all pupils and staff. The library is a modern and bright space at the heart of the school; a busy, vibrant facility that is well used by the school community, supporting both teaching and learning activities.
This is an integral role supported by two part-time Library Assistants. Duties include running the KS3 timetabled reading sessions and research projects, organising our World Book Week celebrations and other Library events, arranging author visits, recruiting library leaders from our pupil body, managing and developing the Library Management System (Heritage Cirqa), organising, classifying and cataloguing all library materials in line with professional standards, and fully engaging with Heads of Department and pupils to ensure academic resources remain relevant and effectively support teaching and learning across the school. An ability to empathise and relate positively to young people and a genuine interest in supporting them to succeed as well as read for pleasure is essential.
You will be a qualified librarian with at least 3 years’ experience (preferably in the education sector). We are looking for an organised individual with excellent oral and written communication skills. You will have excellent customer service skills and be patient and calm under pressure.

Minibus Driver

Minibus Driver
5.30pm – 7.30pm - Term Time Only
£13.69 per hour plus benefits
We are looking to appoint a minibus driver to join our team, Monday to Friday late shift 5.30pm – 7.30pm during term time only. You would be responsible for driving one of our 16-seater minibuses to drive students to and from school.
You must hold a clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement (drivers who passed their car test before 1st January 1997), or a current PSV licence. Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join us during an exciting time of development at our beautiful rural nursery.
