We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Finance team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. You will be an experienced Commercial Manager able to develop and implement a sustainable strategy to maximise commercial opportunities for the school.  You will lead on strategic planning for revenue growth, identifying all potential, suitable market opportunities.  You will deliver against agreed commercial targets in line with the business objectives of the school and report on these to the board of governors.    

We are looking for a motivated individual who has a high level of attention to detail with a drive for continuous improvement and someone with an experienced and successful background in commercial development.

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to teach full-time as part of a strong and successful department. Examination results at all levels are outstanding; approximately half of the Sixth Form study the subject at A level. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across all ages. Ability to teach A level is essential and ability to teach Further Maths A level is desirable.

The post would be equally suitable for someone seeking a first appointment or an experienced teacher. A willingness to contribute to the School’s wide range of co-curricular activities is expected. Small teaching groups throughout the School are supported by the very latest technology and modern facilities including an extensive use of 1:1 digital learning.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced HR manager to lead the day-to-day people operations across our three school sites; King Edward VI School, King Edward VI Preparatory School and from September 25 Prince’s Mead. This is a pivotal role in fostering a supportive, high-performing, and inclusive work environment by delivering effective HR solutions aligned with the schools’ ethos and values.

Reporting into the Head of HR you will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR operations, including overall responsibility and management of the recruitment process, learning & development initiatives, overseeing compliance and HR policies and employee relations. This is a generalist and varied role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is CIPD level 5 qualified or has equivalent professional experience. Previous experience in an HR management role and of working in a school environment would be an advantage. You will have the ability to work independently and be proactive, managing competing priorities across multiple locations. You must be highly organised and have good attention to detail combined with the ability to manage your own time, balance a variety of responsibilities and prioritise tasks. You will be a confident communicator, able to build rapport quickly.
