Open Events

There are lots of ways to experience life at our school, and you are always welcome to visit – whether that’s at one of our taster mornings, our annual Open Evening in October, our Sixth Form Open Evening in the summer, or through a personal tour.

Year 4 & Below Open Morning | Tuesday 28 April | 10am-12pm

This event is for families with children who are currently in Year 4 or below who would like to join King Edward's. You will have the chance to explore the school, meet the current pupils and staff, and get to know more about KES life.

KES Taster Mornings 2026 | For 2027 Entry

Our Taster Morning events are a fantastic way for parents and children to experience our school. During the event families will have the chance to meet the Head, explore the school and grounds, learn more about King Edward's and join us for lunch.

September Taster Morning | For Years 6 & 8

Sixth Form Open Evening | Friday 26 June 2026 | 6pm-8pm 

For students currently in Year 10 and their parents, this event offers an insight into Sixth Form life at King Edward’s, with the chance to meet our Head, Director of Sixth Form, A Level teachers, Careers team and current students.

Individual Tours 

Individual tours run throughout the year with a senior member of staff, giving families the opportunity to see the school in action, visit lessons and ask questions.
