Support for Families Seeking a Senior School Place

We understand that unexpected changes in schooling can be unsettling for families.

At King Edward VI School, Southampton, our Admissions team is here to support families who may be exploring a new school place at short notice. We currently have limited availability in some year groups and would be very happy to speak with you.

Current Availability

Availability varies by year group. If you are looking for a place for your child, please contact our Admissions team to discuss your circumstances and possible joining points.

Visiting the School

We would be very happy to welcome families into the school during the Easter holiday for a tour.

A senior member of staff will be available to answer questions and talk through the admissions process, fees, transport and any other practical matters.

Entrance Assessment

We would be happy to host an entrance assessment on Thursday 9th April. 

Following this, we would aim to confirm whether we are able to offer your child a place before the start of the Summer Term.
