Boundless Futures

We are King Edward VI School and we believe every child’s future should be boundless. Families join us with different needs, experiences and ambitions, but what unites us is powerful: a shared purpose to help young people lead fulfilling, purposeful and multifaceted lives now, and in their boundless futures.

At KES, learning goes far beyond the classroom. Through our i3 learning philosophy - fostering inquisitive learning, nurturing intrinsic motivation, and shaping independent minds. Our pupils are inspired to ask questions, think boldly, and uncover the drive that comes from within.

That means encouraging ambition while giving pupils the confidence to define success for themselves. It means a learning environment where rigour is matched with warmth, and where passions are discovered that last a lifetime.

Our values shape everything we do. We encourage our pupils to do the right thing, with integrity and self-belief. We teach them to lift others, through kindness, collaboration and community. And we inspire them to keep growing, embracing ambition, resilience and the courage to try, fail, and try again.

Boundless Futures is the heart of our school. It’s the belief that success has many shapes, and that every child should have the opportunity to discover passions, build lifelong skills and make their mark on the world.

That is the promise of a KES education.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child as they begin writing their own story, and sharing in the stories of the people who make KES, KES.
