KES Celebrates GCSE Results Day 2024
King Edward VI School is delighted to announce a fantastic set of examination results for 2024, reflecting outstanding achievements across all levels. Our pupils have shown remarkable dedication, resulting in strong performance across the board.
This year, an impressive 71.4% of grades were at 9-7 (A*-A), highlighting the excellence of our academic programs and the hard work of both pupils and staff. Additionally, 86.3% of grades were at 9-6 (A*-B), and 98.1% were at 9-4 (A*-C).
We are particularly proud of the 49 pupils (32.4%) who achieved 10 or more 9-7 (A*-A) grades, showcasing the exceptional talent and commitment of our pupils.
Izzy from Year 11, opening her results said ""I'm super happy with my results! All the hard work has really paid off, and I'm so excited to start at the Sixth Form here at KES studying Geography, Business, and French".
