A Level Results at King Edward VI School
We are pleased to share the outcomes of this year’s A Level examinations, which reflect the hard work of our students and the dedication of our staff. This year, 91% of our students achieved grades A*-C, marking a strong performance across the board. With just over 30% of the entire year group securing three or more A* or A grades, their accomplishments are a source of immense pride for King Edward's.
Neal Parker, Head, expressed appreciation for the efforts made by everyone involved: "These results are a product of the consistent hard work of our students and the support provided by our staff. I want to thank everyone for their contributions. While we celebrate these achievements, we also acknowledge the challenges faced and the effort required to reach this point."
One student, Michael, who achieved a sweep of three A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths will be heading to Oxford University to study Medicine. Reflecting on his experience, Michael said, "I'm absolutely over the moon to have received three A*s and to be heading to Oxford to study Medicine. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing support from everyone here. This school has been like a second home to me, and the sixth form truly feels like a family".
We are incredibly proud of all our students from KES who have achieved outstanding results and are now heading to some of the top universities in the country. We congratulate all our students on their accomplishments and wish them the best as they move forward into the next stages of their education and careers.
