King Edward’s Welcomes Over 30 Representatives From HE Sector at the Annual University Fair
Following an unavoidable two-year hiatus, due to COVID, we were delighted to host our University Fair once again at the School on Friday 21 January.
Taking place in the Main Hall, Sixth Form students and parents were able to chat with representatives from 30 UK universities, including 14 members of the Russell Group, art colleges, apprenticeship companies, the RAF and Gap Year organisations.
The evening provided students with a fantastic opportunity to explore higher education, apprenticeships and gap year options. Students learnt about the courses on offer at universities, the admissions process, the accommodation available, student life, finances and much more.
Thank you to all the representatives who attended the evening, helping our students with their university and higher education research, which allows them to begin to bring into focus their future career choices for when they leave King Edward’s.
The event is part of the School’s higher education offering, delivered by an experienced team dedicated to supporting each student during their time at KES. Other events available to students include; careers lunches, work experience programmes, short courses, careers day, Open Days.
