Examination Results

King Edward’s prides itself on the excellent examination results achieved by its pupils.  They are the result of hard work on the part of the pupils, good teaching, advice, access to resources, and strong pastoral support throughout.

2023 Result Headlines

A Level 

58.2% of students were awarded A*- A grades at A Level and 95.1% of the King Edward's results were a C grade or above. 

GCSE

97.4% of all King Edward's results at GCSE level were a grade C or above. 69% of students were awarded A*-A grades. 

2022 Result Headlines  

A Level 

Every A Level exam taken at KES was passed in 2022, with a staggering 69.3% of all exams taken by our students achieved an A* or A grade. 

GCSE 

76.8% of all exams taken were awarded a Grade 9 or 8 (A*/A) , with nearly 92% earning a Grade 6 (B) or above.
