Legally Blonde Lights Up the Stage at KES

5 December 2025

Pink, positivity and plenty of sparkle – Legally Blonde was not one to be missed!

Our Autumn Term 2025 production brought energy, humour and heart to the Dobson, showcasing the talent, confidence and commitment of our students both onstage and behind the scenes.

Performed to enthusiastic audiences over three days, the production captured the spirit of the feel-good musical, with strong performances, vibrant choreography and a clear sense of ensemble. And not forgetting - not just one dog, but two on stage!

Southern Arts Reviews praised the production and the team behind it, describing it as “as professionally executed a theatrical production as you’re likely to see on the professional stage.” The reviewer highlighted the show’s “tangible and infectious excitement,” noting that it was a production that “made everyone proud to be involved.” Reflecting on the strength of the company, the review described the production as “a shining example of how ensemble theatre should work,” underlining the importance of collaboration and professionalism at the heart of our Creative Arts programme.

With such talent, teamwork and ambition on display, theatre - and Creative Arts as a whole - continues to shine bright at KES.
