King Edward VI Sixth Form Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Applicants Secure First-Choice University Offers

King Edward VI School is delighted to celebrate an outstanding achievement, with all 14 Upper Sixth students applying for medicine, dentistry and veterinary science receiving offers from their first-choice universities. 

This exceptional outcome reflects the talent, ambition and dedication of the students, who have secured places at some of the country's leading universities in these highly competitive fields. 

The achievement continues a strong tradition of success in medical, dental and veterinary admissions at King Edward VI School. Over the past five years, 49 students have progressed to degree courses in these fields. 

Securing a place on medicine, dentistry and veterinary science courses requires students to navigate one of the most demanding university admissions processes, including exceptional academic performance, admissions tests, interviews and extensive preparation beyond the classroom.

Securing offers for medicine, dentistry and veterinary science requires far more than academic excellence and we are incredibly proud that every student applying this year has received an offer from their first-choice university.

The successful students recently gathered with staff to celebrate their offers and reflect on the hard work and commitment that has helped them achieve their ambitions.
