King Edward VI School launches Giving Campaign
King Edward VI School is delighted to launch our Boundless Futures Giving Campaign. By 2030, our campaign aspires to:
- Raise £5 million for bursaries.
- Ensure 1 in 10 of the offers we make are for a bursary place.
- Enable 500 hours of volunteering to support all our pupils.
Our School was founded on a donation in 1553 and giving has always been at the heart of our ethos. Our campaign will ensure that KES continues to provide educational opportunities for deserving local young people and sets all our pupils up for a bright future.
Watch our video to discover the amazing impact a KES Bursary Award had for former pupils Jordan, Emily and Afjal.
We are launching with over £1.1 million already raised towards our target. Furthermore, thanks to a generous gift from the EPA Cephalosporin Fund, all donations up to £300,000 before September 2027 will be doubled. Neal Parker, Head, said: ‘This is a very exciting moment for our School and the most ambitious fundraising target KES has ever set. Your support, large or small, of donations or time, can help create opportunity in Southampton and ensure a KES education is open to more young people who would hugely benefit from it’.
Please get involved with our campaign in any way you can: donate, volunteer, or spread the word. Together, we can create a boundless future for more young people in Southampton.
